IEU has received national programmatic (Certificate No. VU235000066) and institutional (Certificate No. VI230002886) accreditation, as well as international programmatic (Certificate No. VA 240000018) and institutional (Certificate No. VM 240000013) accreditation.
IEU began operating in September 2023. Its activities are aimed at training a new generation of doctors for the CIS and non-CIS countries, as well as citizens of Kyrgyzstan, based on an effective combination of science and practice and innovative approaches.
IEU also trains students from non-CIS countries (Pakistan, India, Egypt, and Bangladesh).
The Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry comprises five departments: Natural Sciences and Humanities; “Morphological and Physiological Disciplines”; “Surgical Disciplines and Internal Medicine”; “Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology”; and “Dentistry.”
As a legal entity, the University has an independent balance sheet, current and other bank accounts (including foreign currency accounts), a seal with its name, a stamp, letterhead, emblem, and other details. It also owns its own separate property and independently manages it in accordance with the procedure and within the limits established by the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Charter, and its constituent documents.
As an independent entity, the University operates on the basis of full self-financing and self-sufficiency, fulfills private orders, and conducts independent educational, scientific, and economic activities.
IEU is registered in the register of national medical education organizations;
Inclusion in the World Directory of Medical Schools (World Directory of Medical Schools), the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), and the Foundation for the Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER®), as well as in the list of the Association of Medical Schools in Europe (Association of Medical Schools in Europe).
To ensure and deepen knowledge, practical skills, and specialty-specific skills at the pre-graduate level, the following clinics are guaranteed training in accordance with Order No. 680 of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic dated September 29, 2018, “On Approval of the List of Higher and Secondary Medical Education Bases of Organizations in the Kyrgyz Republic”: National Hospital, ELSTOM Dental Center, and the BEST DENTIST Dental Center.
