Academic mobility programs

The Academic Mobility Program at the International European University (IEU) is an opportunity for students and faculty to complete a study or internship at a partner university for a specified period (from 1 week to 1 semester).

Main Types of Mobility

• External (International)
• Internal: Exchange between universities within Kyrgyzstan

Educational Objectives

• Mastering New Technologies: Students gain access to modern simulation equipment and diagnostic methods that may not be available at their home university.
• Comparative Analysis: Opportunity to compare different healthcare systems and treatment approaches.
• Individualized Trajectory: Students can choose a specific course not offered at IEU.

Professional Objectives

• Sharing Experience with Faculty: Faculty learn new teaching methods (e.g., PBL – Problem-Based Learning) and implement them upon their return.
